This is for our students that have already attended our 3 Run Dragster Experience and have received our school competition license.
We will start the day at approximately 10:00 am with a brief classroom time discussing the proper driving procedures in competition.
Our race series utilizes our four dragster experience cars, with each competitor taking two time trials in the lane of their choice. All time trials are taken as single runs giving the drivers the opportunity to regain their comfort level in the car with no distractions. These time trials will be considered qualifying runs establishing a ladder with the number one qualifier having the best reaction time.
After all pairings are completed we will begin first round. Our instructors will ask each competitor to pick a dial in for their car based on their two time trials, which is what we consider bracket racing. Instructors are available for assisting you with any advise you may need on your dial in. This is a single elimination race which will typically be three rounds of eliminations to crown the champion. All champions will receive a plaque to commemorate their win.
If in the event the qualifying ladder determines two competitors will compete against each other that are currently utilizing the same car the instructor will alter the ladder to best accommodate the situation. Since this cannot be done in the final round, if both competitors are using the same car a time trial will be given to one of the drivers in an alternate car allowing to run the final.
