This one-day course was created for established drag racers wishing to improve their performance on the racetrack. Since each student will display a different level of proficiency, lesson plans will be tailored to the individual student.

The first phase will take the student through the mental process of drag racing and the importance of physical and psychological conditioning. The discussion will then progress to the most efficient prerace routine that ultimately will yield quick and consistent reaction times. The instruction will then cover the numerous things a driver must consider during a run, including finding the groove, responding to feedback from the car, racing an opponent, and top-end driving techniques that will turn on win lights with greater frequency.

Once the instructor and student feel a high level of confidence in these areas, the lesson will progress to the racetrack where the student will drive their own racecar in a fully simulated race environment to allow the instructor a chance to evaluate the driver's current routine. The instructor and student will then begin the process of fine-tuning each area of the process to the maximum benefit of the student, however long that may take.
